I was just looking at my drawing and I was shocked with knowing that I could draw. It's one of those moments when I realized that I finally am what I thought I could be. It felt like I reconnected with myself.
When you were a child you would do things with little care. You were so connected with who you are to a point that you didn't even know you were doing it. You just enjoy what you're doing.
You were emotionally connected with yourself. When I draw, I feel a sense of excitement as if I was a child.
In order for you to say yes to who you are, you have to reconnect with it. It takes time, but when you're able to do this, you realize that the effort was worth it.
You start caring less about what people think. You can rely on the self-worth that you're calling gives you.
The process of getting better at something gives you good emotions. It makes you feel good.
Find something you want to get good at and pursue it. The brain is made to transform itself.
When you're not improving at something, the brain becomes like a swamp that doesn't get filtered. It always has the same water. You always have the same thought.
You know what they say. When you don't use anything, you lose it. You'll get unhappy and all that stuff.
We discuss this in greater detail in my course.... click here.
