By meditating, you practice and isolate the skill of being present, so that if negative thoughts or any insecurity come to your mind, you’ll just simply observe the thoughts and emotion and you’ll notice that you are not the thoughts and emotion but you are the awareness and you will be able to step back and let go of it.
Try to do this every day, meditate by focusing your attention and bringing awareness to the present moment.
