The reason I made this video is because a lot of us waste time. People fear getting older not just because getting older sucks ass, but also because they have nothing to look forward to. The only thing they look forward to is hoping to keep some youth.
They want to keep some of their beauty. When you get older, your goal shouldn't be trying to look younger. Your goal should be trying to attain skills and finding happiness through those skills. For example, let's say you are 32 and you’re thinking ‘I don't want to be 60 now.’ ‘It's going to suck.’ The reason you're thinking that is you're thinking about a few things. You're thinking about your physical health. You're thinking about how you’ll look.
Remember that life is all about perspective. It's about what you focus on.
Let's say you found out that you enjoy making wooden sculptures. You realize that it takes 20 years to really master that. Guess what, the thought of being 40 or 50 will be exciting because you actually enjoy the skill.
You're not focusing on getting old. You're focusing on another aspect. You're focusing on getting better and expressing yourself. You'll be able to create something of beauty. That creates excitement for the future.
People fret about getting older because they have no goals. They don't have something to look forward to. Their goals and aspirations are superficial. They're based on how they look and how people perceive them. It's not based on expressing themselves.
Expressing yourself is creativity. Consuming things and getting reactions from people Is what stunts your creativity. It creates a swamp-like mentality where nothing is filtered.
Get in touch with your natural inclinations. Find out what your biology reacts to.
Pay attention to your visceral reaction to things and find something that you want to get good at.
