Let me tell you about the phrases you should never tell a dude. If you utter any of these sentences, you might turn him off. We're going to talk about three things you should never say before being in a relationship and when you're in a relationship.
BEFORE THE RELATIONSHIP:
The first phrase you should never say before the relationship is "what are we" because when you know somebody and then you begin to ask "what are we" even though they may want something, the fact that you're looking more eager than they are, automatically puts you in the weaker position.
Human nature leads you into thinking that if somebody asks for a relationship, they're the ones in the weak position. It's just how it is. Never bring up "what are we". The best thing to do if you want to bring up something is to pull away slowly then create the need. Once you create the need, he'll ask you what's going on, the point is he'll be the one to bring it up.
The second thing is talking about how you feel about him particularly before the relationship. You can do it with your actions but contradict it with your words.
The third one is asking him about his whereabouts. There's nothing wrong about asking him but don't ask him as a way to control him. Even if you're curious, it looks like you're trying to control him. It's not a good thing.
IN A RELATIONSHIP:
The first thing to not tell him when you're in a relationship is "Why do we not see each other anymore?". Rather than asking him, create the need by slowly pulling away.
The second thing is always telling him how much you love him. It's nice, it looks cute but it's just not optimal. It doesn't do anymore or less and it could scare him away. Realize that attraction has a lot of anxiety mixed into it and if you don't create anxiety inside a person, you're not going to drive him crazy for you. You want him to ask you if you love him. If you tell him you love him, pull away the next day.
The third thing is marriage. Don't bring up or ask for marriage. It's not a good idea. Keep distance. If you want him to ask you for that, go hot and cold. Have a zigzag of hot and cold and don't bring it up on your own.
