I was walking when I came across a girl who is on the phone. I could tell that she was a shy girl. I asked myself if I would ever date a girl like that. The answer is yes. There's nothing wrong with being shy.
When you're a shy girl and you date an extroverted guy, it’s a good match. The problem is when you like a shy guy. He’s the guy so you want him to make a move. Since he’s shy, he wouldn't make a move. Both of you wouldn't make a move.
When you're a shy girl, you've got to show interest. The best thing you can do is be there. Just accept his invitations. Let's say you're dating a shy guy and you guys are hanging out. You're both quiet and feeling awkward. As long as you're there and hanging out, it's ok.
You may start pushing yourself thinking about what you're supposed to say. Keep this in mind. When a guy likes you, but you're shy, just be there. You don't have to act confident. The problem is when you try to act like someone you're not.
The only problem with shy girls is that sometimes they don't want to show interest. They don’t show that they like the guy. Guys will misinterpret their shyness as disinterest.
That is the only problem.
What you have to do is show interest. From time to time, validate the guy. If you are noticing that he is backing away, text him and say hi. Ask him what he’s up to.
Some people are not compatible with you and that's ok. The truth is that, if you're a shy person, the best people to date are people who are extroverted.
You have to date the total opposite of who you are. If you are an extroverted person, date someone who's introverted.
You can say that shy girls are bad at dating. Yes, but only when it comes to shy guys. Those are the only people who may have a problem with you.
All you have to do is encourage the guy by showing interest. If you’re shy, there's nothing wrong with that.
How do you stop being shy? The best thing to do is to have fun. When you're having fun, you can be yourself. When you're having fun, you're expressing yourself, you can be yourself, smile more, and feel looser.
