The way I make my videos is simple. Before I started the channel, I searched for the biggest channel in the world that talks about dating advice for women.
I then searched for his top videos and made videos based on those. If you watch one of my first videos, it's about ‘How to tell if a guy likes you instantly.’
Why did I make that one of my first videos? When I checked out Matt Hussey, that was one of his top videos - How to instantly tell if a guy likes you.
I decided not to reinvent the wheel. I just switched it up.
I then downloaded this google chrome app called Tags for YouTube. I would copy the tags on his video and place it onto my video.
All I'm doing is that I'm looking at the videos getting the most views and then I'm getting their YouTube tags, posting them online and just changing the titles around.
What happens is that you automatically get views because these videos are proven to get views.
All I do is I share my own perspective. Since I come from the dating advice for men niche, I could bring my perspective. That's how you do it.
You could do this in any field. Let's say you're a beauty vlogger. All you do is look for the videos that get the most views from beauty vloggers. Rather than making random videos, make videos based on the most viewed videos.
You may say that you don’t want to make a video on the top viewed YouTube videos because they are your competition. You can also go to blogs and then look at their most popular posts. Make videos on those popular posts.
That's how I did it. You’ll get views like that.
It does depend on what you're doing. I'm lucky that I'm in the dating advice field where I’m able to make videos like this on the run and get views.
It all depends on what niche you’re in. My leverage was that I had a lot of information to put out. A big part of it wasn't about me being disciplined. It was just that I wanted to put it out. It was more like an obsession.
